The International Society of Travel and Tourism Educators (ISTTE) is an international organization of industry professionals in travel, tourism, and related fields representing all levels of educational institutions, ranging from professional schools and high schools to four-year colleges and graduate degree granting institutions.
Southern New Hampshire University is a private, coeducational institution known for its solid educational programs and excellent connections with employers. William Angliss Institute of TAFE is an institute located in Melbourne CBD, Victoria, Australia providing a specialist centre for training and vocational education in Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts. It is the oldest and largest provider of hospitality training in Victoria, with the capacity to train up to 1400 chefs and patisseries a year.
The William Angliss Food Trades School opened on September 18, 1940 on the site of the old West Melbourne Technical School in La Trobe Street. The school was named after meat baron Sir William Angliss who, following a 1937 royal commission into the wheat, flour and bread industries, and demand from local hotel owners for better-trained staff, donated £20 000 for the construction of a double-storey red brick building. Specializing in training butchery, breadmaking and cooking apprentices, the school steadily expanded. Renamed the William Angliss Institute of TAFE, the school also offers training in the hospitality and tourism industries.
