BSCS in ICT Systems Support
This course provides a broad knowledge of hardware and operating system technologies and includes practical experience of installation, configuration, diagnostics, preventive maintenance and basic networking.
The course covers the following: Customer support; Network and operating system essentials; Implementing Microsoft Windows stations and servers; Installing, configuring, and administering; and managing a Microsoft Windows network environment.
On successful completion of the course there are further opportunities for study at level 4 or above, including, the Microsoft qualification, CCNP, CCSP or a foundation degree in computers or security. The course could also lead to career opportunities as a business analyst, computer hardware engineer, computer network engineer, project manager or systems analyst.
