 Millions of sales transactions take place on the net – businesses  selling their products or services via open networks like the Internet, or other proprietary on-line systems,  to individual customers or businesses.  This is the result of the successful implementation of electronic  technology and processes that facilitate efficient and secure on – line commercial transactions.  Behind all this activity are graduates of degree or certificate programs which combine business courses with specialized subjects in Information Technology such as web site design and   development, data base administration, and Internet and e-business. The E-commerce program at SFU combines the traditional business subjects (such as those listed below) with Information Technology subjects such as Introduction to Internet and E-Business, Website Design, Internet Marketing, to mention a few.
